Finally installed

Lunch and dinner made, Tom Tom set to go. Where? No not a day trip but a journey. A new journey to natural freedom. Sisterlocks installation at my new hairdresser new sisterlocks consultant Liz. Here I come.

12 hours later it's done my sisterlock are in and it didn't even seem like 12 hours that's how comfortable and at ease I was. I can't believe it finally. Hands in the hair straight away only to be reprimanded by Liz. Leave it alone for the next month. I am so excited I can't wait for it to grow. I have to show my friend Naomi. If it wasnt for Nai I wouldn't be experiencing this new freedom. Thank you Nai and a even bigger thank you to Liz.

Tomorrow is the day

Well I can't believe it.  I booked my appointment months ago and tomorrow the day has finally come. I will be getting my sisterlocks.  I am so excited and a bit apprehensive - what will it look like, what will people say, etc etc you know the sort of things that goes through your mind.  Well you will if you have decided to go down this route.  I can't wait to have that freedom, no more relaxers, no more flat hair on my head, itchy scalp no no more.  This will be replaced by my own hair natural, not hidden under a wig, not weaved with the itchy scalp and banging my head to get rid of this itch you all know what I am talking about - getting the tail comb to dig under the weave cos it is itching you like mad.
